Solstheim the next Skyrim DLC destination?

The 1.8 Beta update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released on Steam today and PC gamers have wasted no time in searching through the added files for any references to the next DLC for Bethesda’s hit RPG. And it seems like a return to Solstheim is on the cards (Solstheim was the location for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind’s expansion Bloodmoon), which in theĀ time frameĀ of the current game is largely inhabited by Dunmer refugees. It is believed the DLC will be called “Dragonborn”, as ZeniMax Studios have trademarked that in the same vein as Dawnguard was (Downloadable content).

The forum post which shows some returning armours, quest markers and other things can be found here.

Bethblog’s post regarding the 1.8 beta update on Steam also indicates that a DLC announcement might just be around the corner, so we’ll know soon enough whether this is true or not.

Still nothing on the PS3 front though.
