Skyrim DLC announced

Bethesda have not only fired up the speculation engine, but kicked it into over drive, after the developers made ‘good’ on their word to release details on the first DLC for The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. What were those details exactly? Just the name of the DLC, as it were, with the promise of more details at E3 in June.

The DLC, called Dawnguard will be an Xbox 360 timed exclusive for 30 days, before becoming available to both Playstation 3 and PC as well.

What do you think Dawnguard will entail? Let us know in the comments section below. If I had to guess at this point, it could tie in with either the Mythic Dawn or Azura, who just so happens to the Daedric Princess of Dusk and Dawn.

Dean AKA Cypher, is a self-confessed caffeine addict with too much time on his hands. His worst nightmare is becoming Mario, then attempting to rescue the princess only to find out that she is in another castle. He founded GamingHUD in December, 2010 and has been working on it ever since.

David B and I have been chatting about this over on FB. He says bring on the Falmer War (grin) but i am wondering if it has anything to do with Dawnstar (the city). and the Mythic Dawn comes to mind as well but i am kind of Mythicdawned-out to be honest.

I would love to see some of the open storylines expanded. Join the Forsworn or the Vigilant, organize the Blades to do…something, or maybe find out why the level of tech and civilization hasn’t changed in hundreds of years even though it should have ;)

Maybe the Dawnguard are an elite force of dragon-riding warriors?
