Minecraft gets a release date

Minecraft

Name one massive, open, sandbox game with snowy areas coming out on November 11. If you said The Elder Scrolls: Skyrm, you’d be correct, but we would also accept Minecraft as an answer. Yes, the game that hundreds of thousands of people have already bought and are actively playing is being “released” on the same day as the next title in Bethesda’s flagship series.

This, along with news of a weather feature being released in Minecraft’s upcoming 1.5 update, was outlined in Minecraft creator Notch’s blog. Notch also noted that the released version won’t be that far removed from the version available now, adding “we’ll keep adding features after the release as well, so it’s really more of a milestone when we finally get rid of the Beta label, and some kind of goal for us to work towards.”

If you could only own Minecraft or Skyrim after November 11, which would it be? Let us know in the comments below!
