Farcry 3
The Farcry 3 trailer started off with a semi-naked girl, erm, sitting on the player character. She explains to the player that he is a legendary warrior for a tribe that is native to the island. The player then stands up and starts speaking to a group of warriors. Could this mean that you can call in support from the tribe to help you kill everything in your path?
The Gameplay that was shown started off with the player jumping off of a cliff and landing in some water before swimming stealthily up to a dock and taking out the guy dumping bodies into the water. He then continues up the path a bit and comes across two people beating up a woman, the player sneaks up behind them and takes one out with a knife to the back, before lunging at the next (like something you would see in Assassin’s Creed while taking out multiple enemies) and then once again continued along the path.
He takes out a Bow and Arrow and silently takes out a guy standing guard in a tower then walks up to a small ledge looking down over a base. He fires the arrow at a guard then lunges across the gap and stabs the guy he shot, then picks up a gun and starts gunning down everything in sight. The game continues on a bit, showing off what appears to be a cover system. An interesting point I saw was the player shooting the locks off of some Tiger cages and letting them do some of the work before finishing them off.
The Gameplay ends with the player taking out someone with a flamethrower by throwing a grenade, shooting them, then going in for some more stabbing action. The player enters what appears to be a warehouse, turns around and gets stabbed. The screen starts to go all purple and the camera looks down at the knife, and the wound has a yellow glow to it. The last cut scene is what appears to be a very drug induced sequence. At the end of the demonstration it is confirmed to be an open world game.
